Making holes in EMC-1 cards

Is it possible to make holes in EMC-1 cards to hang them on lanyard or fob?
Solution:
Making holes in proximity cards is very risky because it may damage the internal antenna or chip. Localization of these elements is not always the same and that's why it's not recommended to do it by oneself.
In order to localize the loop of the antenna inside a card the identifier can be put against a light source (light bulb for example).
