MC16 controller IP address
Description:
I don’t know the controller IP address. How to find it?
Solution:
For firmware 1.4 and newer - use the current RogerVDM to find the controller in the network. Select the firmware and Ethernet communication channel. All available controllers connected directly to the network will be displayed on the list. Test all fw. from 1.4 up if necessary.
For fw 1.3 and older - turn off the controller and connect the microSD card to the computer. Check the data in the IP.INI file on the card (e.g. open it in a notebook). There is the controller IP for the service mode. These settings can be edited and saved if necessary.
After inserting the card, connect the CLK and DTA and turn on the controller power. After 10 seconds (when all LEDs are flashing) remove CLK and DTA connection. The controller will light up LED 2, which means it is in service mode. RogerVDM IP address has to be entered manually. This is the IP address defined in the IP.INI file.
