Hotel Room Control

The MC16-HRC access controller is a variant of the standard MC16-PAC access controller and it includes additional functions for hotel room signalization and automation.

The MC16-HRC offers room control in connection with entry reader (MCT82M-IO-HR), card holder (MCT82M-IO-CH) and touch key panel (MCT82-FK-HR). The system enables control and signalling of such services as room service, luggage assistance ordering, room make up, assistance calling as well as signalling of do not disturb request. The signalling of hotel services and automation states can be monitored on an ongoing basis from the level of the VISO management program.

The entry reader (MCT82M-IO-HR) has a bell button and four LED indicators for signalling selected hotel services. The system recognizes user’s proximity card inserted into the holder and depending on assigned rights it switches on the power supply in hotel room and activates other devices and services in the room. Function keys on MCT82-FK-HR touch panel are usually used to control lighting (including light scenes) and to control hotel signalling.

The MC16-HRC controller is available in 4 versions offering the control from 1 to 4 hotel rooms. The MCT series terminals for hotel applications are also available in a flush-mounted version with a glass front panel ensuring their high durability and aesthetics.

Due to the security reasons, RACS 5 system devices for hotel applications are offered only in the version which supports encrypted MIFARE® card numbers (SSN).
