About

MCT82M series readers are indoor identification terminals designed for use in the RACS 5 access control system.

MCT82M terminals allow both reading of the factory serial number of the proximity card (CSN) and the programmable number stored in the encrypted memory sectors on the card (SSN). Readers in the IO versions are equipped with a set of input and output lines, which in most cases provide complete operation of the passage without using inputs and outputs located on the access controller or expansion module.

Communication with the controller is carried out via a modified RS485 standard, which allows star and tree-type wiring structures.

The cable connection between the reader and the access controller can be up to 1200 m long and can be made using any signal cable. Configuration of the device and update of the built-in software (firmware) is carried out via the RS485 interface and RogerVDM program (Windows).

The front surface of the reader is made of glass, so it is characterized by high scratch resistance and a high level of aesthetics. The reader's stylistically neutral design line makes it blend well into classic and modern interiors.
